Our Associate of Science degree in Building Design and Construction Management gives you the practical business, design, and construction knowledge needed for a career as a construction manager, planner or contractor, job superintendent or foreman. The diverse number of electives also lets students focus on sustainable construction methods, architectural design, or computer-aided drafting (CAD) .
Some courses also satisfy the requirement of the Construction Industry License Board for Continuing Education Units.

Program Summary
A balance of practical skills and management training prepares successful AS degree candidates for careers in contractors' or architects' offices, building construction administration, or self-employment in the construction industry. The program is very flexible, allowing the student to choose electives that are most suited to their career goals. Some of the courses satisfy the requirement of the Construction Industry License Board for Continuing Education Units. Classes are conveniently offered days, evenings and weekends.
Graduation Requirements
Minimum grade of "C" required in all courses.

At SPC, our Sustainable Construction Technology Certificate is part of and transfers to our Building Design and Construction Management Associate of Science Degree. The A.S. degree transfers to the bachelor's degree in Sustainability Management at SPC.
